Social login

If you sign in with Google, Facebook, or X (Twitter), we receive your name, email address, and a unique account identifier from that provider, in line with the permissions you grant during sign-in.

Usage and device information

We automatically collect your IP address and approximate location (country, state, city), browser, operating system, and device type, along with your predictions, prediction history, and scoring statistics.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to understand how the Service is used, via Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. A cookie consent banner lets you manage non-essential cookies on your first visit.

How we use your information

• Provide, maintain, and secure the Service, including authentication and your account.
• Record your predictions and compute scores, streaks, badges, and leaderboards.
• Send account-related emails, such as email verification and password resets.
• Understand usage patterns and improve the Service through aggregated analytics.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers who process data on our behalf, including email delivery (Postmark, Resend, Amazon SES), hosting, and analytics (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity).
• Identity providers (Google, Facebook, X) when you use social login.
• Other users, limited to your public profile name and prediction/leaderboard activity — never your email or full name.
• Authorities, where required to comply with the law or protect our rights and users.

Data retention

We retain account and prediction data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain it for legal or security purposes.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can update your name, email, and public profile name, or delete your account entirely, from your account settings. For anything else, contact us using the details below.

Children's privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
